Alex Jones says Rapture a hoax?

Listening to Alex Jones this morning he is accusing 501c3 companies that teach the rapture are the problem.  So I need to address several issues here.

First most 501c3 corporations known as churches do not teach the rapture.  They are mostly amilliniel or don't teach any eschatology.  The true churches that have not become a 501c3 corporation. teach a rapture. What is a 501c3 corporation?  It is a not for profit organization for purposes of making charitable contributions.  Churches do not have to become one.  Red Cross, and other non church affiliated organizations do.

The accusation is that if your church is a 501c3, then they have to take orders from the government to keep their tax exempt status.  This is why churches are not allowed to endorse candidates for elections.  I don't advise endorsing candidates anyway because they are all corrupt at some level.  Ask Richard Nixon.

So what is going on with the Rapture theology?    The rapture in many circles is taught wrong.  I know I have heard it many times.  "Before it gets really bad we are out of here".  Jesus said in John 16:33, " that in this world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."  So we need to be prepared for tribulation.  Americans in this Laodecian society are very soft.  We can't handle it it if someone puts a gun to our head and says deny Jesus or die.

The correct teaching is that we are to be engaged until he comes.  When I was running track, I was told to keep going until you hit the finish tape.  Many a race was lost in the last couple of yards when the one head relaxed.  Keep going.  Keep sharing the gospel.  Keep writing your congressman.  Keep attending your county party conventions.  Stay engaged and stay informed.  This is not a time to quit.  2 Thessalonians 2:7  tells us that he that letteth with let until he be taken out of the way.  Until it is gone, we are to be a force of good in this world.

As I wrote in a previous article, we are to play until we here the whistle.  Play until you hear the last trump.  Don't let Alex Jones or anyone else influence your theology.  Alex also believes that man is tens of thousands of years old and has evolved.  The Bible clearly puts man at six thousand years.  Get your theology from the Bible.  Keep going.

  1. Right on, Mr Roden! There's only a handful of times that I've listened to Alex Jones. I take his shows with a heaping tablespoon of salt and use them as a jumping off point for my own news research. I think his intentions are good and that some of the things he says have weight to them. But I find that his shows often instill fear and confusion -- a trap no child of God should fall into. If you find yourself worrying/doubting while listening to him, it's best to turn it off and break open your Bible.

As far as the teaching of eschatology and the Last Days, it's amazing how much people are willing to avoid the topic. Even family members have accused me of fearmongering when I talk about what I've studied and learned! Of course, that's to the contrary. Studying prophecy has given me MORE peace.

  2. Thank you for your comment. I feel pretty much the same way. Alex Jones provides great news and interviews but his analysis can be lacking. Where he thinks that the battle can be won, it is only by the grace of God that we can go through the tribulations that are ahead. There has only been one successful revolution and that was the American experience of 1776. Every other one has been throwing out one Tyrant only to get another. The French revolution ended with Napoleon. To have a successful revolution, it is important that God be behind it like in 1776. The Next successful one will be at the Battle of Armageddon.

  3. I still think Alex is an insider with ties to the CIA and the NWO helping them to turn the U.S. into a mess. Notice how he uses buzz words like church or Christian or even Jesus, and never really showing any sign of true salvation. We can just pray for Alex and do like you suggested and that's keep running the race until the finish. Don't stop now were too close to the finish lines.

  4. I don't know if Alex is an insider or not. He obviously is not above suspicion. I know is "Christianity" is not Biblical. Many will say to me in that day "have we not..." and the Lord will say, "Depart from me ye doers of inequity".

  5. The church (ie. the state church 501(c)3) will not speak of the immoral system or of those promoting it in politics or the world order. The tribulation IS this state church. They are guilty by silence under the excuse of a false gospel. Even those in office that profess "Christianity", "gospel", "Jesus as Savior" advocate for the legislation of immorality rather it be abortions, gay marriage, war, etc. Modern Christianity speaks death by the sin of omission. The feel good "know Jesus" is all that's needed false gospel is what allowed Nazi Germany.

  6. It is an easy search to find out who funds your pastors doctrine. Check out the "Association of Theological Schools". The Rockefeller's fund and manipulate them. Also, check out Henry Luce III Fellows. It is ecumenical and guides doctrines. In our world today, it is dead. No one said we must "believe Jesus" and not fight for the truth. The state church does not. It IS the problem. But, at least your ear gets scratched when you here what you already know week after week. You can nod your head, yep yep and leave more "Christian" ready to feel good about the things they never hold accountable.

  7. No one said we MUST be in a tribulation today or just accept the wrongs that are happening. Wake up sleepy giants ....

  8. Last Friday, Alex said that all who are in Christ will face tribulation. I will agree with that statement. What he doesn't understand is that while Christians may face the wrath of man, Christians will not have to face the wrath of God. That is the difference. Christians will escape the Great Tribulation. There is plenty of persecution going on right now. We are in tribulation. We are not in the seventieth week of Daniel. We won't be there until a covenant is confirm. Daniel 9. Any arguing about the rapture from Matthew 24 is a moot point. Matthew 24 is for those who go through the tribulation. You have to look at 1 and 2 Thessalonians to argue the rapture and it's timing. He is right on the number of pastors who are co opted. He is wrong on what they are being told to teach. The ones that are co opted are listing to the Purpose Driven Lie and told stand down and not teach any prophecy. In the past they taught abhorrent eschatology like amillinialism and preterism. Show me one church in the World Council of Churches that teaches Dispensationalism. There is none. Even Dallas seminary is shying away from the doctrine.

  9. [Hi ....Activist. Spotted this article on the web. Any reaction to it?]

    PRETRIB RAPTURE STEALTH !

Many evangelicals believe that Christ will "rapture" them to heaven years before the second coming and (most importantly) well BEFORE Antichrist and his "tribulation." But Acts 2:34, 35 reveal that Jesus is at the Father's right hand in heaven until He leaves to destroy His earthly foes at the second coming. And Acts 3:21 says that Jesus “must” stay in heaven with the Father "until the times of restitution of all things” which includes, says Scofield, “the restoration of the theocracy under David’s Son” which obviously can’t begin before or during Antichrist’s reign. ("The Rapture Question," by the long time No. 1 pretrib authority John Walvoord, didn't dare to even list, in its scripture index, the above verses! They were also too hot for John Darby - the so-called "father of dispensationalism" - to list in the scripture index in his "Letters"!)
Paul explains the “times and the seasons” (I Thess. 5:1) of the catching up (I Thess. 4:17) as the “day of the Lord” (5:2) which FOLLOWS the posttrib sun/moon darkening (Matt. 24:29; Acts 2:20) WHEN “sudden destruction” (5:3) of the wicked occurs! The "rest" for "all them that believe" is also tied to such destruction in II Thess. 1:6-10! (If the wicked are destroyed before or during the trib, who'd be left alive to serve the Antichrist?) Paul also ties the change-into-immortality “rapture” (I Cor. 15:52) to the end of trib “death” (15:54). (Will death be ended before or during the trib? Of course not! And vs. 54 is also tied to Isa. 25:8 which Scofield views as Israel's posttrib resurrection!) It's amazing that the Olivet Discourse contains the "great commission" for the church but not even a hint of a pretrib rapture for the church!
Many don't know that before 1830 all Christians had always viewed I Thess. 4’s “catching up” as an integral part of the final second coming to earth. In 1830 this "rapture" was stretched forward and turned into an idolized separate coming of Christ. To further strengthen their novel view, which evangelical scholars overwhelmingly rejected throughout the 1800s, pretrib teachers in the early 1900s began to stretch forward the “day of the Lord” (what Darby and Scofield never dared to do) and hook it up with their already-stretched-forward “rapture.” Many leading evangelical scholars still weren’t convinced of pretrib, so pretrib teachers then began teaching that the “falling away” of II Thess. 2:3 is really a pretrib rapture (the same as saying that the “rapture” in 2:3 must happen before the “rapture” ["gathering"] in 2:1 can happen – the height of desperation!). Google "Walvoord Melts Ice" for more on this, and also Google "Pretrib Rapture Pride."
Other Google articles on the 183-year-old pretrib rapture view include “X-Raying Margaret,” "Margaret Macdonald's Rapture Chart," "Pretrib Rapture's Missing Lines," "Edward Irving is Unnerving," "The Unoriginal John Darby," "Catholics Did NOT Invent the Rapture," "The Real Manuel Lacunza," “Thomas Ice (Bloopers),” “Wily Jeffrey,” “The Rapture Index (Mad Theology),” “America’s Pretrib Rapture Traffickers,” “Roots of (Warlike) Christian Zionism,” “Scholars Weigh My Research,” “Pretrib Hypocrisy,” "Appendix F: Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Pretrib Rapture Secrecy," “Deceiving and Being Deceived,” "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty," "Famous Rapture Watchers," and "Morgan Edwards' Rapture View" – most by the author of the bestselling book “The Rapture Plot” (the most accurate and documented book on pretrib rapture history which is obtainable by calling 800.643.4645).

  10. Thanks for the interesting article. What you have to watch for is the fact that many will come forth and put out whatever they want to cover whatever story they need to and discredit who they wish. It will take some time to read all that. What I have to say is follow scripture. Scripture says in Isaiah 26 that we will be hid in the time of trouble. Revelation calls those who will be punished as Earth dwellers. The fact of a Rapture is irrefutable if you study the entire council of God. The only thing the debunkers can do is go after the character of those who hold to that view. So to sway someone from the opinion, you have to do better then just give historical data and give some scriptural evidence. The Religious thinkers of the time of Jesus didn't believe that Jesus was the Messiah and to this day they still don't believe. Let God be True and every man a liar.

  11. Blood Moons, Pretrib Rapture, Etc.

Heard of the coming blood moons? Is the pretrib rapture symbolized by anything in the heavens?
Hal Lindsey, influenced by occultic astrology, asserts on p. 124 in "The Late Great Planet Earth" that the famous Sphinx in Egypt has the head of a "woman" - even though encyclopedias say it's the head of a "man"! Hal's plagiarism on that page of a 19th century British theologian is his acceptance of the occultic Virgo-to-Leo theory - a "Christian" zodiac arbitrarily starting with Virgo (Virgin Mary) and ending with Leo (Christ returning as "Lion," Rev. 5:5).
Those who swallow this guesswork often see Ursa Minor (part of Cancer which precedes Leo) as a heavenly "symbol" of a pretrib rapture!
Pretribs also insist on separating the "church" from "Israel" - but when you aren't looking (or thinking) they blithely "prove" pretrib by the Jewish feasts in Leviticus, the stages of a Hebrew wedding (Google "Pretrib Rapture: A Staged Event"), and the one "taken" and the other "left" in "Jewish" Matthew 24.
Amazingly, Jewishness (and even anti-Jewishness) has been uncovered even in pretrib dispensationalism's 19th century foundation (Google "Roots of Warlike Christian Zionism")!
The current "blood moons" craze (promoted by lunar persons including rock musician Scottie Clarke and John Hagee) is tied to - you guessed it - the same old Jewish feast days.
Yes, there's something colored red in the future of the church, but I don't have moons in mind. What will really turn red will be the collective faces of many when it finally dawns on them that their any-moment fly-away was nothing more than an end time hoax!

  12. Irv, I will probably write something about that subject. I am not well versed in it. There seems to be something to a zodiac that begins with Virgo and goes to Leo and it is not the Babylonian zodiac that we all know of from the tabloids. The key is to use it to tell the story of salvation and not foretell the future with it. The blood moons in my humble opinion for this time around will give the Temple to the Jews. The rapture itself is a signless event therefore any signs we see just mean we are getting closer to the date. When it happens it will be without warning. Most of the signs of his coming are for the glorious appearing and not the rapture.

I like how you describe plagiarism. I believe my English professor told me that copying someones work was plagiarism and that using many resources was research. It is not plagiarism to base a chapter of your book on someone elses work.

I think what you will find with most Pretribbers is that we are willing to look at your opinions on the subject with an objective mindset as long as you use a consistent hermeneutic of interpreting scripture and not belittle there opinions on the matter. What we are not concerned about is that my opinion better then yours but does it line up with scripture and what God has to say.
